Injured Iraqi National Guardsman Dhiaa Abid, 26, receives care from Spc. Randall Neuenschwander, 34, of Salem, a medic with the Second Battalion, 162nd Infantry of the Oregon National Guard. Abid was injured in a rocket attack in early August and was initially treated at a U.S. Army hospital. When he went back for follow-up care, he was turned away and told to see an Iraqi doctor.
