  • Iraqi National Guardsmen from Alpha Bunker watch with concern early Saturday morning as a fellow soldier is loaded into an ambulance at Patrol Base Volunteer after he was  treated and stabilized for injuries from a rocket-propelled grenade attack. Medics from the Second Battalion, 162nd Infantry of the Oregon National Guard took him to the base helipad where he transferred to a helicopter and sent to the the Army hospital in the international zone in Baghdad. <br />
